Test method: The method involves preparing an emulsion by mixing the crude oil under test with seawater (natural or prepared in the laboratory), followed by analysis and evaluation of phase separation over a specified period. The test is performed on both the untreated crude oil and crude oil with a demulsifier added, using a Turbiscan Classic instrument.
