Multifunctional Summer Addive Package for RME Bioesters with Biocide
General information:
Alpocid-BDL is a multifunctional summer additive package for bioesters. Alpocid-BDL contains AGQM registered antioxidant Pachem-BL. Due to special selected constituents, Alpocid-BDL has strong properties: anticorrosion, antioxidantion, deemulsification and antifoam. It contains also a very effective biocide. Alpocid-BDL is homogeneous liquid with amber colour, and remains effective in a wide range of temperatures.

Application:
Alpocid-BDL is intended to improve the quality of bioesters based on rapeseed oil (RME) and otheroils esters (FAME). The additive package improves many of physical-chemical properties of fuels, prevents the formation of deposits in the engine and protects bioesters during long-term storage. The microbiological additive included in the package protects fuel products and fuel storage tanks against the development of microbiological flora (bacteria, fungi, algae, yeast).The FAME protected by Alpocid-BDL has a high oxidative stability and shows no corrosive properties. Treat Rate:
The typical dosage of Alpocid-BDL is 100-350 ppm by weight depending on the quality and origin of the esters. In the case of fatty acids methyl esters of rapeseed oil (RME), the recommended dose is 125-150 ppm m/m. In the case of esters other than RME, individual selection of the dosage quantity is recommended. The product remains liquid even at temperatures down to -30°C, however, at a temperature below 20°C, some precipitations of some antioxidant components may appear. Therefore, it is recommended to store the product at > 20°C or to heat it and mix it immediately before use. In case of other esters than RME, it is recommended to select the treat rate individually.
Packaging:
Alpocid-BDL is available in 200 l barrels, in bulk or 1000-litre tanks (IBC). Other types of packaging are available on request.
