Testing of foaming tendency covers the injection of the given amount of Diesel fuel under the constant pressure into the graduated glass cylinder, and the measurement of two values: the foam volume [ml], and the foam vanishing time [s]. In accordance with the requirements of the Worldwide Fuel Charter the foam volume should not exceed 100 ml, with a maximum foam vanishing time equal to 15 seconds.
Requirements for the foaming tendency according to Worldwide Fuel Charter are:
- Foam volume: max. 100 ml,
Foam vanishing time: max. 15 s.
